Wandering, not lost...I am:~ covering miles on my own two feet.
~watching trees burn down all around me with unabashed fire and haloes of light.
~writing my way back to the center of the page.
~finishing projects overdue for ages & getting them in the mail. Whew.
~enjoying cup after cup of tea.
~knitting a neckwarmer very similar to this one...using *gorgeous* yarn a lot like this which feels like heaven.
~enjoying book (brutal but so worth it) after book (a visual masterpiece) after book (which I picked before Oprah did, just so you know).
~hanging out with the wildies & counting candy after the neighborhood trick-or-treat stroll Friday night.
~getting ready for my gig as (newly ordained) minister of my brother's wedding on Saturday(!) by writing the entire ceremony (no pressure, right?)
~burning incense and breathing deeply while the front lawn is covered with neighborhood kids because my house is the hang-out spot for the local 11-13 year old set now.
~sleeping with the windows ever so slightly open to catch the scent of the fallen leaves.
~learning to navigate my way by starlight to the crooked center of everything.

wandering, not lost is good D. it makes me happy to read this post and have the linky love for the neckwarmer (i've been looking for something just like this) and also, the cashmere yarn, because i'm now allergic to wool. xo
i'm so going to knit myself up a little neckwarmer like this one! thanks for the link :)
hugs and good luck with the ceremony this weekend!

Beautiful.
It is cool that yours is the hang out... I love that.
;)
wandering, but not lost.... oh how i love that!
if we didn't wander think of all that we would miss.
i hope my house is the hang out spot when my children are that age... then i will always know who their friends are and where they are.
